MissouriWxCo started in 2018 as a passion project while I was still in high school. What began as a simple way to share forecasts quickly grew into a community of more than 6,000 followers who looked to the page for local weather updates, storm coverage, and graphics designed to make forecasts easier to understand.

When I went to college to earn my degree in meteorology at the University of Missouri, I put the page on pause so I could focus on developing my forecasting skills and gaining hands-on experience in the field. During that time, I interned as a meteorologist in North Dakota, mentored student forecasters at Mizzou, and built up my skills in forecasting, hazard communication, and weather graphics.

Now, MissouriWxCo is returning with a renewed focus: clear, trustworthy forecasts for Missouri, paired with behind-the-scenes insights into how weather decisions are made. My goal is to make weather more accessible, reduce storm anxiety, and provide forecasts that communities can trust.
